Not a real programmer, just kinda know a little bit..
What about setting up a sniffer to write the key to a registry key (a randomly generated class id would be great since there are alot of them in the registry), then having eqw (or some other routine) call regedit to extract it to a file, then have the SEQ box snag the file and get the key...
Or
since you can make 16bit apps run in a seperate memory space (NTVDM) can you make a program that emulates this, but does an outside memory call to the addresses that EQgame uses to pull the key out, then port it somewhere else
dunno.. just a couple of ideas.. again, I am not a programmer.. just know a little VB/VBS...
