Okie, downloaded the zip file and compiled with no problems. Renamed everything and copied over to EQ box. Ran the .dll with proper arguments, then ran EQ. SEQ popped up with all the pretty mob colors. Yaaay, works again finally. Well, shut down to do some other things, then ran everything again and no more mob colors.....(( Shut down SEQ and restarted....also rebooted EQ machine and restarted...now works again. Little confused as to what might have caused this.

did you release the dll after you quit EQ?

Well, from what I've read, it's supposed to release automatically when EQ runs. Not supposed to have to release it manually unless ya don't run EQ, but didn't check that. Will try it and see if that helps.

Undertaker is correct, here's the info from the comments in the source
REMOVING THE HOOK:
Removing the hook is only necessary if you installed it but never ran a program that matched the search criteria (in our case, "eqgame.exe"). If you ran that program, the hook auto-terminates, so there's no need for manual removal.

Could be you mis-typed one of the parameters on the command line? Or didn't Save the preferences on SEQ after setting the port? /shrug. It works now, so if it ain't broke... ;)

Hmm, seems to be broken now after the recent patches...could the memory location have changed and if so, when will it be posted as I have absolutely no idea how to find it.
EDIT: Doh....grab hammer, beat on head, repeat as necessary :(
