As an aside, there has not been a changed exe pushed up to test yet. I don't know if this means that the changes are all server-side, or if they're planning on popping new client code out there without any time on test.
I only point this out because it is a bit unusual... As such, if there is a new eqgame.exe pushed out tomorrow, we need to apply appropriate caution, since it will not have been looked at prior to the patch day...

Good point, Mr. Spock. No changes on Test prior to release is unusual. Hopefully it's all server-side stuff.

They have only been tweakin spells on Test this week so no new eqgame.exe does not surprise me.

Has anyone been checking eqmain.dll to see if they put detection code in there. I noticed that is one of the files that they change just about all the time and they did this morning also.
The eqmain.dll was released AFTER the patch!!
The patch this morning did NOT send it.
Just now I log another machine on, and low and behold a new DLL!
I double checked, the machine on earlier has a November DLL.
Hmmmmmm.

Stop spreading panic Catt!
This isn't an unusual thing!!! THIS IS NORMAL.
Normally when they patch, they setup all files up for downloading (so people can download them while the servers are down) but MOST of the times they only make the dll available for downloading AFTER the servers are back online again, so yes, people like me, who are in Europe, usually (read almost ALWAYS) have to download new files TWICE. Once when the servers are down and usually the dll and exe again after the servers went up.
No panic intended, only drawing attention.
No, it was NOT normal, it was released AFTER the servers came up.
Likely it's nothing, but just because 1 person thinks it's normal, doesn't mean it should be ignored.
