Ok, trying my best to figure this out. i complied my keyring but when i try to open the program. I get an error needing the cygwin1.dll file. Anyone know where I can download and where I need to put this file? I checked the search, but I havent found an answer. I would appreciate any help.

It sounds like you compiled it under cygwin, instead of using lcc or another windows compiler. I don't remember off hand how you include the cygwin dll's when compiling. Try searching on google for cygwin compile or cygwin cygwin1.dll.
That or you can just use lcc to compile it.

Yep I used cygwin to compile. I Downloaded and installed LCC.
But have not the slightest clue about what to do from there. If some could maybe tell me basically what I have to do to compile it in LCC. I would be greatly obliged. Funny I got SEQ up easier than the Keyring, but only because am pretty much clueless:)
Thanks for any help you could offer.

Did you search on "cygwin1.dll"? I did and got these results:
http://seq.sourceforge.net/search.php?s=&action=showresults&searchid=54560&sortby=lastpost&sortorder=descending
All the threads mention putting the DLL file in the directory you are running your compiled exe from. Did you do that?
Oh, also you know that Seq is currently broken, right? Keyring or no keyring, you still will only have GPS. It's now mentioned in the FAQ (http://www.macsrule.com/~seqfaq/seq-faq.html).

Try doing a find on your machine, if you compiled it there under cygwin then it has to be there. Cygwin does not function without it. If that somehow returns nothing you can always get a copy of the dll from cygwin.com where you installed cygwin from.

Hey Thanks Guys for the Replies, I found the cygwin1.dll file in the cygwin\bin folder. I copied it and the keyring.ini to the Keyring folder. Worked like a charm. Guess, common sense dictates. Anyways Thanks again, just awaiting the fix. :)
