Cvs ?

I've waited 24 hours in case it was a server problem before posting .. but:

# cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.seq.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/seq login
Logging in to :pserver:anonymous@cvs.seq.sourceforge.net:2401/cvsroot/seq
CVS password:
cvs [login aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)
The same commands I've always used don't work for grabbing CVS from sourceforge anymore. Any of the login/update/checkout/logout commands I try give that same error.

I got the same thing, until I did it repeatedly for 10 to 15 times, and then it went thru. I think the problem may be because people login, download, but then don't logout. You then, have to wait till someone connection times out.

If everyone would actually log out of cvs, this would really reduce this problem ...
Well I don't have this problem as of beeing euro and so I can get updates before all ports/connections to the server are blocked by those who forget to log out, so it doesn't concern me, but it would reduce the spam here.
To overcome the problem, do the cvs gets later the night or in the morning again - repeat after 5 minutes on errors.
