New front pages? Maybe.
Posts that say "SEQ IS BROKEN RIGHT NOW"? Perhaps.
Overall I think the forum needs moderation. Just my opinion.
Personally, I don't care that this is a flame board. I won't pretend that it's anything else. Not much real discussion takes place here, and the developers don't use this as their board for communication either. (Maybe they do, in a hidden forum.) The "Development" forum isn't really that. If it was, we'd see snipits of new code, diffs for this and that, etc.
The main reason anyone posts here is to ask if SEQ is working, to get flamed for such (or to be the flamer), and to have this same exact thread re-created over and over again.
Only on rare occation does the legit thread not degrade into this. Only on occation does a legit thread ever get posted.
Ratt or fee or whomever said that although he does not have time to effectively moderate the forum, he also does not trust anyone else to do so. Thus, we are left with the SEQ forums as they are, and nothing will be done about it. Creating a new forum for moving these threads is decent, but only if it's actually used.
So - flame, bitch, ask the same questions over and over. Suggest these same ideas to remedy the situation over and over. It doesn't matter, because at the click of a mouse it dissapears off the screen.
