Mob locations not updating.

I have searched for this everywhere, I feel like at one point I saw something that indicated this was fixable, but i cannot locate it anymore.

Basically any NPC/PC that is outside of a ~500yard radius of me does not have its location updated. The only way to update the location is to get within xxx yards of where the mob "was" or to physically target the mob in game.

Is this something that can be fixed?

Again I apologize if this is common knowledge.

If it matters, i am playing on the official TLPs and using the generic offsets posted for the most recent patch.
