    I think this was a red herring.

    I changed my packet scraper to pull the CRC's off of the packets before decoding them, and there are no longer any differences in length of OP_ClientUpdate packets...

    I think I've noticed something interesting with OP_ClientUpdate/playerSelfPosStruct packets.

    When a packet contains movement data (as opposed to all delta values being 0), there are 2 extra bytes...
