Newby, don't feel slighted. There will be times that CN187 misses something or you figure out something that CN187 doesn't or when he is not available. Your contributions ARE greatly appreciated. It...
There is a patch file for v5 still. There will be a few v5 patches released before the stop for the people who have yet to upgrade. CentOS 7 should work fine with it.
Thank you!
Hello everyone. I just wanted to inform you that ShowEQ5 is now EOL (end of life). It has been decided to make the jump to ShowEQ6! The big difference is that ShowEQ6 will now require QT4. Thanks to...

That worked. It was libx11-dev that it was looking for.
I was successfully able to run SEQ6 on a pi 4. My pi was a 4gb but it should work on other versions.

Thank you for updating the SVN. I went to do it and it was already done!
I think this is a good road map of the future of SEQ. Thanks again everyone for helping and keeping it alive.
Cent0S 8 uses qt5 if you downgrade to QT4 it should work with it but I havent done that... Might need a different version of GCC
EDIT:
I installed CentOS8. QT5 is the only package in yum offered....
Maybe difference between 32 and 64? I used 64 in a virtual machine and it had something like emso3 for the interface.
CentOS 7.8 uses the systemd not classic interface names.
Boy great minds think alike. I had just created a distro compatibility thread until I saw this one...
