I'm sure you realize that ZEM's aren't needed in those zones.
Of course you could do that from any unix box, but, it makes more sense just to run the applications on the unix boxs' display since your windows box will be displaying Everquest..
Gentoo on the xbox now? NICE. Nothing personal against Debian, but it's nice to keep all my linux boxes the same distribution to keep things simple.
Thanks for the tip.
I was browsing around in an old SEQ ezboard forum, and I found this post:

Here's the post for the...
Too bad you probably don't play on my server or I'd give you the pp for a cheap horse so you could figure that one out.
I dunno if this is happening to everyone, but it's really bad for me, so I thought I might ask.
Scrolling the map with the middle mouse button is very very bad. The map jumps to x/y offsets in...
Okay cool I downloaded from CVS and all is well now. Thanks Caveman.
Okay I'll have to try that then.
I still get overflow. I did delete an .ini file that was out of place, but it still overflows. It took about 15 minutes to search all the drives and such.
As far as the horse con situation, you can fix the con colors without hitting stop and then go. Just get off the horse, go to Options, and then click OK. It's a little quicker.
Is the CVS available from the SEQ CVS server? Do I checkout MySEQ or something?
They don't seem to work for me. (yea I converted them to base 10) The client crashes with an overflow error.
I think they make a lot of changed every chance they get that aren't necessarily news worthy.
Weird, not for me. I see no spawns, and my location doesn't move on the map. Using 1.7 server and 1.10 client.
I'm using the offsets listed in this here thread.
Guess it doesn't matter...
The zone shows up on mine too. Just nothing else.
Sometimes it crahes, probably because of some invalid data or what-not.
kde takes care of the qt parts and all associated parts that go with it.
I must be one of the small handful of people here that uses my linux boxes for more then seq. My linux boxes are all...
Why does it always have to be a competition? I like both projects~
emerge libpcap
Worked for me~
Pretty easy thing to do for a gentoo box for seq, is just:
emerge kde
Once that's done you should have everything needed to build seq besides libEQ.a and...
Cool, hand over the source to libEQ.a and we'll get right on it ~
Although SEQ is (showing spawns) working right now, in the future it may not, and we can't fix it (in it's current form) without...
Might be able to run that eqmonitor thing in wine. Of course, that is if you're not running the new glibc stuff that's messing up wine like a mofo.
Looks simple enough, so it should work in...
That's a good explination.
Well geez I wasn't serious =) Seems to be working fine.
Any tips on being able to find the offsets on my own for next time?
OMG cavemanbob FIX IT NOW OR ELSE!!!!!
=) jk
The mid-day patch just busted this program, probably due to new offsets.
And before some of you get your panties in a bunch; offsets can change when you change anything with the program. So, I'm...
You should set up a Sourceforge project before Ratt boots this project off his forums. =)
They are free right?
While you're taking suggestions...
Would be nice to have the option of select mob on target (in game target, or con perhaps), if possible.
Would also be nice to be able to click a mob on the...
