Your problem may be that they changed the name of the files...
You now need to use spells_us.txt and eqstr_us.txt.
Just a heads up, they changed the name of the following files.
From: spells_en.txt
To: spells_us.txt
From: eqstr_en.txt
To: eqstr_us.txt
Adding this because of what was posted below:
This has already been brought to Zaphod's attention and should be corrected in the next CVS update... :D
Yeah, didn't think about the AA's... Glad you found it Zaphod.
You are the man....!!!!!
:D
My Druid does NOT have any Extended Enhancement Items. When he cast the spell, The spell window shows the correct cast time and remaining time, but disappeaars as soon as the casting is completed.
Phew.... Thanks Shadowcat. I was beginning to think I was alone on this issue. Maybe we can help Zaphod track it down.
I run RedHat Version 9, Complete Install with QT 3.11 on a P4 with 512Meg...
Look Close at the Spell Window, Does it actually count down REAL FAST or does it dissappear when you are finished casting the spell??
I just did a Fresh Compile and install, by renaming all the original folders etc.., Make -f Makefile.dist, ./configure, make, make Install. Copied the necessary Spell File to new directory and I...
It has been any spell that I have tried, be it from my Druid, Cleric or Chanter. If they are Self Only spells, or if it's a Group Spell and I cast it only on myself, it doesn't stay in the window....
I don't know if anyone else has this happening , but on any of my Toons, any spell that I cast show up in the SEQ Spell window, but only WHILE it is being cast. When it is done being cast, it...
I noticed that the EQTime on the Status bar in SEQ is off by an hour. An easy fix, is to change line 3255 in Packet.ccp from -1 to -2 and it seems to correct the problem. Doesn't seem worth it to...
Just a heads up on the spells. I don't know if anyone else has this happening or to what extent it goes, but on my Druid, I cast any spell that isn't currently on the spell list from when I first log...

Yes, you got it right :D
I have only tested it on a couple of flat maps, but it worked flawlessly.
Thanks for taking the time to add this valuable tool to SEQ :D
When ever I run the awk script as follows
awk -f eqtomap.awk < SoldungC_1.txt > Soldungc.map
I get the following:
awk: eqtomap:2:
' in expression:2: ^ invalid char '
and nothing else.
If anyone wants it, here is my diff file used by leaving the code as it was originally, but with the con numbers changed to reflect correct cons for all levels.
This has also JUST been submitted...
What level is your toon uRit1u2CBBA= ?
I tested my code on levels 59, 60, 63 and 65. All con's are correct. If your's are too, then Great! I just didn't think that the same calcualtions would...
The code above will not work. That is why a level 59 is conning even to a level 60.
I have tried to get into cvs to post my diff, but cannot, so I will post my changes to player.cpp file here. I...
.10 is working fine for me, but none of my toons are below Lvl 60.
I'll try to check it with one of my son's toons and see if all is ok with his on conning.
Thanks for the instructions, BA. After a long time of trying, I was finally able to get into the CVS and did as you instructed. Worked Great.... seems someone beat me to it tho, so I'll not post...
First of all, A Hearty Welcome Back Zaphod :D
While the map changes are being done, mapcore.cpp also needs to have this typo corrected...
Also, in Player.cpp, the con numbers need to be...
I like the current format Ratt.
Looking Good BA
