If you leave them just as they are with the .txt extension they will work just fine....

First thing you should do (of course) is make sure the IP in the client options is pointing at the server machine and the port is set to 5555 (just so that you can say later that you are 100% sure...

Trust me there is nothing wrong with these offsets or you would see MANY posts about problems from MANY people....
You have some other problem preventing your server or client from running properly...

In your posting under the News section you stated that you reinstalled Windows XP... Did you remember to reinstall the .NET framework as well ???

.NET framework is required for the program to run...

If it only says "Waiting for connection" when you hit go on client it usually means the client cannot find the server...

Check the IP of server machine (command prompt "ipconfig"), IP setting in...

The maps created with the in-game mapping system will work just fine with MySeQ...

I have created many such maps myself & use them daily...

Sunmanx when ShowEQ first came out it would show the loot the mobs had as well as the mobs HP's but SOE made some changes that caused the info to no longer be sent to the client...

I took the time one night (was bored what can I say) and remapped Upper Guk, Lower Guk, and Sebilis...

The old maps were quite inaccurate and very hard to read with all the lines of different...

If you go to using the full ShowEQ you will find it already does numbers 1, 2, 4, and 6.... Then again it requires Linux to run...

Basically if you want all that sooner then run a Linux machine......

Make sure to leave the file extensions as .TXT ... If you change the extensions to .MAP to match the other files they will NOT load...

I think when I first started using this program I had a similar problem...

I had to uninstall the dotNET 1.1, install dotNET 1.0, and then install version 1.1 over the top of it to make it work......

Make sure you have the IP Address and port numbers set right in the client options....

The IP Address should be either 127.0.0.1 or the real address of the machine...
In Win 98 to get the IP hit...

Copy all the names just as you have them there & paste them into the filters.conf file located in myseq client directory..
