On a sidenote, I'm glad to see you around Ratt, I was beginning to wonder where you were. :)
Big Vampire?
I'm just curious, what is your frame rate set at in ShowEQ?
Or you can just upload spells_en.txt in binary mode, lots and lots of FTP clients will detect the .TXT at the end of the file and transfer it in ASCII mode instead (which would convert the EOL from...
So you're saying nothing was fixed? ;)
Hehe, I didn't mean anything derogatory about it, LethalEncounter, I just meant "go figure" in the sense that someone finally starts doing this with SEQ and it magically appears elsewhere. :) I...

Go figure.
Very very cool, ksmith. The ONLY thing I ask (if you're so inclined) is to throw some kind of database abstraction layer in there so we can directly output data to a database of our own (I'm...
If you admittedly know very little about linux, I'd suggest holding off on Gentoo for now. Once you learn a bit more, it'll be easy for you to change your OS down the road. On a machine like that,...
Not being used to linux will not hamper what Raventhalos suggested in the least - what he suggested needs to be done in the GUI. So if you can load showeq up, you can change your font size quite...

But it already works if your linux box bridges your router and your modem (i.e. is your gateway). Or did I misunderstand?
When looking for an alert mob, I usually just pick the alert filter, if I want to know what a mob not in the alert list is I just mouse-over the skittle.
You know, when I was reading through this thread I could've SWORE that you said something other than OllyDbg - my mistake =)

If you just installed the RPMs, then you probably don't...
Try OllyDbg
You have to copy over the guilds2.dat file from your EQ directory to your ShowEQ directory - SEQ doesn't create it.
Why didn't you search for "db_cxx.h" on Debian's package contents search page? That brings up:
FILE PACKAGE...
Post the source so we can take a look at it. :) Or is it Ratt's or my script? Details, bro. ;)
You wouldn't be able to connect via telnet, it's UDP only. Go here to read up on the protocol they use for the status server.
I doubt they're writing directly to EQ's memory space (maybe the DirectX memory space), but I wouldn't run a closed-source program like that anyways so it doesn't really matter. :)
Has been broken for a long time.
If the proposed mapping changes happen, then adding an edit box will be moot. As for why the opcodes aren't in an ini file, read this thread
