    Help with client.

    Got the new offset 07/11/03 and replaced the .ini in the server dire with the .ini in the .zip.(many times)

    I have deleted all files and reinstalled. I downloaded again and reinstalled. All leaves me with the same thing.

    when I click go, I get a blank map with me in the middle and 2 mobs listing with no names in the list window. when I hover my mouse over the map the little mob info winow pops up and shows nothing in it but the lables. And thats every where on the map.

    Was working great before the 07/10/03:/

    Any Ideas whats going on?

    Now I am getting an error when I click go

    ** An unhandled exception has occurred ect ect..**

    This is what is in the debug window.

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just in time (JIT) debugging, the config file for this
    application or machine (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the machine
    rather than being handled by this dialog.

    Check the installation "Sticky". You must have forgotten to install or set up something (Maps directory, or perhaps your .net installation is bad -- go to windows update and reinstall, or re-install from Microsoft's site).

    Myseq *is* working perfectly as of today (July12th)

    What client are you using? The stock client, or one of the two that have been put up as modified?

    And what zone is your character in currently? I know it sounds silly, but it may be reading something in that has a space or something of the sort, causing issues. This could be a bad map, or bad alert?

    With my modified version, as well as the other, if there is a blank line in there, it can cause issues. Simple fix, just didnt test it under those circumstances..

    V1.3 original version not amended version.

    Have 8 characters in different zones happened in all of them where it was working before the 11th patch.

    For the hell of it, try removing the prefs file(prefs.xml) and starting with a new one.

    Got it working. Had to remove the maps dir. Then put the maps back and it started working. /shrug used the same path and all.. Might of been a bad map file of the zone I was in. Any way it seems to be working find now
