How do you get these offsets? Is there a simple program or is it a human-based, iterative job?

Easiest way is to go to Macroquest site, they update their list VERY quickly after a patch...

That will give u most of em...

ItemsAddr=7256324

The only one you need to find then is the ZoneAddr, which is the memory location that the current Zone Shortname is held. To find this Search the EQ memory space looking for the Short name of the zone you are currently in. (This is the name of the map if you didnt know). Record all Occurances of the zone name, then zone and search for the new shortname. Compare addresses found, any addresses common to both lists could potentially work.
