    9-9-03 Patch Quick Fix

    If your desperate for skittles as they are so pleasantly called after the recent LDoN patch, add to the end of spawnStruct in everquest.h:

    uint8_t unknown257[1];

    (note: this is definatly not the way to do it, but it gets skittles, figured a few might appreciate that ;)

    Yes, works here too, though you have to manually load map, not sure about mob movements either.

    Good quick fix though

    where at do i put this, make a new line for it, or add it to the line at the end? im trying it with its own line, but don't know if it needs the /*###*/ there or whatever.

    Yes it works, map loads, skittles everywhere. The only problem: the are all deep red, because the level for my character is reported as 0.

    Badgerone, manually set your character's level and turn off autoset. Save settings and restart ShowEQ. The skittles will be the right color.

    Or he can just get the latest CVS/Tarball/Patch that is mentioned in News, since it has a real fix for that problem (which was caused by the ServerZoneEntryStruct changing). His post was prior to ShowEQ-4.3.12 being released.
