Think our blazing speed at getting SEQ working after the 10/9 patch has left the dumbfounded and they couldnt think of what they could do to eqgame.exe in that amount of time that would stunt the brilliant developers of SEQ?

I think they just no longer care. None of the recent patches have intentionally broken Showeq, just struct changes.
