    NEWS: MySEQ Open 1.28.0 Released

    Release Version 1.28.0

    Dated 02 October 2011

Announcing the release of MySEQ Open 1.28.0. The installer can be downloaded in the files section of SourceForge.

    Server Changes
    1. The server will now work with eqgame.exe versions that have either single or double pointers to ground spawn item offsets. This allows the same myseqserver.exe to be used with the current EQLive or older versions such as Titanium or SoF.
    2. The myseqserver.exe will now prompt for UAC control to run with appropriate privledges.
    3. The IP addresses being listened to by the server, will list out on starting up the server.

    Client Changes
    1. Fixed some issues with built in con colors for Titanium/SoDalaya client.
    2. There is now a check box in options for alerts, to prevent corpses from triggering alert filters.
    3. Alerts on maps will now be depth filtered with the NPCs to which they apply.
    4. If an alert type matches a mob, no more alerts will match it. Only one match, then it will stop checking that mob against other alerts.
    5. If Auto Expand is off, the amount of zoom on a map with respect to actual map range will attempted to be maintained when changing zones.
    6. The range circle can now be reduced to a size of 0 to allow getting rid of it altogether on the map.
    7. Map text can now be depth filtered. SEQ format .map files, only have x,y for text so this requires using SOE style maps with x,y,z coordinates for text.

Any idea if this will work on the latest patch project 1999 server? (they have custom downloaded client files required that seem to have implemented some sort of encryption in the last 2 or 3 patches)
