NEWS: MySEQ Open Version 2.2.1 Released

Announcing the release of MySEQ Open version 2.2.1. The installer can be downloaded from the files section on sourceforge.

    Release version 2.2.1

    Dated 13 March 2012

    Client Changes

    • Selected targets will stay visible better in the Spawn List window. Moving cursor to the map window will no longer automatically lose focus of a previously focused list, i.e. Spawn List. With auto selection of targets, it will also change the focus to the spawn list when selecting a mob.
    • The Spawn List, Spawn Timer List and Ground Item List are now double buffered. There should be no more flashing or blinking of the items in the lists.
    • Because of the way Spawn List grid lines get distorted sometimes scrolling, the new default setting for list grid lines is now off. This is just a more visual tweak, that you only would notice scrolling the lists manually sometimes.
    • Selecting a value for the map zoom from the pull down menu, will now change the map zoom.
    • Uninstalling the client will no longer delete the maps folder if other files are present, such as player installed maps.

    Server Changes

    • Added a displayed IP address. The logic to display this may not always show what you expect for your local lan ip address due to possible virtual interfaces.
    • Added a button to display all of your ip addresses in a message box.

    Enjoy

do I need to uninstall the previous version first, or can I just run this installer?

Just run the installer. You dont have to uninstall first.

thanks again for the hard work Razzle. I have the latest version up and running and it looks great. The IP address feature works perfectly !

update: I have experienced the desktop being forced into the foreground a few times. I run the server minimized into the tray now to try and prevent this.

I'm having a problem. The client and server connect (same computer) but nothing shows on the map. Anyone else have an issue like this?

When you start the server, it should show a patch date. If it is anything other than 03/16/2012 , you will need to update the offsets in the .ini file with the current ones here http://www.showeq.net/forums/showthr...6-2012-Offsets

Thanks Razzle. Just wondering is there anyway to adjust the size of the ring around me on the map? I want to set it to 200 which is my max cast range.

Press F1 or Go to File -> Options -> Map Tab under the Proximity Alert Settings next to Range Circle just change the range to whatever you want.

I tried to use debug mode this morning to track down the ground spawn issue with the UF Steam client (EQEmu), and it does not seem to be working like it used to.fz bazaar does not return anything. Am I missing something? or should I do a new install? I just upgraded over the top of my prior install.
