Hi all. I am having some issues with the latest release. It crashes everytime I zone. It either gives:
Warning: EQStr: Failed to open '/usr/local/share/showeq/eqstr_us.txt'
Info: Client Detected: 192.168.1.20
Zone: EntryCode: Client
*** glibc detected *** showeq: malloc(): memory corruption: 0x086c02d0 ***
or simply closes. I have tried ver.29 band it does not crash on zone, doesn't work, but doesn't crash.
It configures and compiles without issue, so I am not sure what the next step should be.
Any ideas or clues would be appreciated, please.
Note that the above was done using the downloaded tar version since when I try to run the Makefile.dist command on the SVN version I get this:
sudo make -f Makefile.dist build
Removing old files.......................................... done!
Adding libtool support......................................make: *** [config.guess] Error 127
./configure
bash: ./configure: No such file or directory
