Question Looking for Live EQ data for Project 1999

    Greetings all,

The long and short of it is I played Project 1999 for a few years and recently have been more dedicated to helping reconstruct Classic to Velious EQ rather than playing. I'm always looking for new data that can help with this goal, so am now looking for ShowEQ data from as old as possible.

I am not quite sure when ShowEQ became a thing, so not sure if getting data before 12/4/2001 is even possible? I see some revisions were posted in December 2002, which would be a year too late.

Anyways, if you can help guide me towards any data from those times that would be awesome (mob names in zones, vendor inventories, mob hp/ac, etc). I'm particularly interested in what player mana pools were in these eras, I saw that there was data from Luclin era that showed player mana pools, so figure it was possible (after reading the FAQ I was a bit surprised to know the client would even know these values from other players).

Much obliged if you can help and/or educate me!

    -Wedar

ShowEQ started in 1999 on Hackersquest. Ashran and Megaton created the original. It wasnt moved here until after Ashran and Megaton abandoned the project in around 2001 to around 2002, I believe (dont quote me, my memory isn't as good as it used to be.)

I unfortunately do not have any contact information for either of them.

I dont know if this will help or not. There are some snapshots in archive.org. The original site was Hackersquest.gomp.ch and then it became hackersquest.org.

Thank you Mr. BA! Any lead is a good lead, I'll crawl around those links and see if I can get any info. Any other popular sites you or other posters can think of where someone may have posted any data to?

There was another program called Sins (sins is not showeq). I dont have any contact information though. They were a similar program as SEQ but was a windows version. You should also go to MQ(macroquest) and see if they know anything.
