    libEQ.a and compiling question

After doing some searching, I can't find a direct answer to my problem.

I have used and updated SEQ for over a year now but this is a new one on me.

I did a cvs -z3 update and also removed the old libeq.a. DL'd the newest libEQ.a.

Now I run a ./configure and get the message that can not find libEQ.a

It is in /usr/lib. /usr/lib is also part of the path. /boggle

Also isn't it true that libEQ.a is only used at compile time?

    Thanks!

Before you run ./configure, you need to do
    Code:
    make -f Makefile.dist
"What you've just said is one of the most insanely, idiotic things i've ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherant response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you NO points, and may god have mercy on your soul."

I had the same prob.. I just deleted the whole showeq dir and pulled the new CVS from the serv.. put the new LibEQ.a in your /usr/lib and compile it and it will work

Hmm.. I will try a complete rebuild I suppose. My Makefile.dist is not there.

    Strange....

Looks like the post about libEQ.a above will fix my problem just fine.

I'm having the same problems, yet deleting my showeq folder did not solve the problem.

But Upgrading my QT to 3.1.2 did fix it!!!

    SKITTLES!!!!!!
