If you had the previous version, you just have to patch those files, then remove the .o files and recompile.
Or you can download the tarball or download a fresh one from the svn.

Do you run the patch in the build or active Showeq Dir?
What commands are you using to compile? Make?
I download the svn and it creates a trunk folder. I go into the trunk folder and run the patch -p 0 < /location-of-file/diff-170517.txt it will say 2 files patched.
