    KDE or Gnome

I was wondering if there is a botched installation of showeq say it doesn't work right is there a process to uninstall or can I install right over top of it or any installation for that matter wheather it be RPM's or whatnot. I was gonna show you the error I get compiling showeq but basically the error tells me I don't have the newest version of QT installed,, I thought I did, I have it d/l and tried to install, qt-3 but in the /usr/lib it still only has 2.3.1 .. what is the command line to make qt

    RPM ( ) filename

what are the argumentsl I know that this isn't a linux forum for newbe but its still involved with compiling show eq.

Also do I need to reinstall if I mess up the first installation of ShowEQ.

    Thanks

In your /seq/showeq folder is a file called INSTALL.newbies readme. It helped tremendously, as did the following post:
http://seq.sourceforge.net/showthrea...=&threadid=273 - both talk about obtaining the correct RPMs. The INSTALL.newbies readme also lists a link for linux installation details:
    http://www.linuxnewbie.org

Searching for RPM installation will also return the thread in this forum which is invaluable (install guide).

    Hope this helps!
