ShowEQ on a Phone modem

Hi, Can ShowEQ be used on a nework using a phone modem? Is anyone doing this ? The reason I ask is thats the only Internet connection available to me, and I haven't seen any posts about it being done this way. I do lnow that if I try to run 2 EQ accts at the same time, the acct running on the network connection ( No modem connection ) Will only stay online for about 3 min, then EQ drops it.
Any help at all would be app.
