settings not picked up from .conf

Ever since I patched about a week ago, showeq is not picking up many settings from the showeq.conf file. Here is a list of settings it is not picking up that is used to.
Show compass
Select on Target
Use sound card for audio
audio cmd for alert sound (play alert)
Case sensitivity on filters

Is there a new location for all these settings or are they just broken?

OK, got it. Looks like a just need to do a [save preferences] and my settings will be persistent. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction without the deserved RTFM. hehe
