screen blanking

Anyone happen to know what processes are responsible for blanking the screen under RH 7.3? I've got some sort of idle timeout blanking my screen exactly every 10 minutes. It's not in the screensaver settings, and I tried "setterm -blank 0" and this does nothing. "setterm -powersave off give me "cannot (un)set powersave mode". I don't see APM running anyway if I bring up ntsysv. I suppose it could be the bios, but it wasn't doing this under RH 6.2 and I haven't changed the bios .... I'm befuddled.

I'm still confused as to why this would come up with a default 10 minute screen blank. That seems a little quick unless you're logging in as root.
