Hi and Thanks in advance, esp the developers )

This is a minor problem, but it bugs me:

I can’t get my Linux boxes to do a GUI login.
Always does a Text login.

I’ve read the posts in this forum and Red Hat’s knowledgebase on the subject and I know this is Supposed to be a Runlevel problem. I’ve verified that my machines’ "/etc/inittab" have the line "id:5:initdefault". Heck, the text line displayed during boot-up even display "INIT: Entering runlevel:5"
Runlevel 3 is nowhere to be found.

Here’s more info (I am Meticulous):
Red Hat 7.2
Exact same behavior on two different PC’s.
Both PC’s loading GRUB, one dual-boot, one Linux only.
Fresh Linux installs on both, verifying Graphic Login selection in Custom X Configuration section.
After fresh installs, again verified that both are at runlevel 5 in boot text and /etc/inittab.

Any Ideas?

This would be a good place to start looking for a solution:
