make error

Followed all the steps in the seq.txt readme. Got to the make command, ran for 5 minutes or so. ended up giving a billion "/usr/lib/qt-2.3.2/include/qstring.h:651: undefined reference to 'Qstring::shared_null" and lines of that nature.
The last 5 lines above the prompt are :

make[2]: *** [showeq] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory '/root/showeq/src'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/root/showeq'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2

anyone help?

you probably didn't compile qt-2.3.2 with gcc3. if you compiled with gcc3, maybe you forgot to make sure showeq's ./configure used your compiled qt-2.3.2. it could be a few other things to.

please post the actual error message. the stuff you posted was merely make exiting (and doesn't tell us anything). try about 10 lines, ending about where you started copy/pasting last time.
