Read very carefully. Show EQ parameters (like all parameters in unix) take a double-dash when they are fully qualified, and a single-dash when they are abbreviated. This should be:

--ip-address

--Jeeves

Hey thanks. I did that and Showeq came up. Now how do I get it to actually give me info =) I logged on to EQ and turned on ShowEQ and it just sits there with no info of mobs or anything not even maps.

Then your network setup isn't correct, do a search on "network".

You need to start SEQ before starting EQ, or at least zone or camp out and in after starting SEQ. SEQ needs a zone packet to start working.
