Hi everyone,

Is be a while for sure since have posted here but, I have a question and seem I didn't had time go get around alot of them due to School and other work, but I been wondering. Has anyone install ShowEQ on Linux 7.3? If so, can I run the normal tutorial of Linux 7.2 the one that ya have here on the forum and just update the files to the newest one? Any adivce or links to part of the forum here were ya discuse about Linux 7.3 & ShowEQ installation.

Huh? I assume you mean Redhat 7.3? If so, there are a number of topics on this, please search for them.

Hahaha, that is true, sorry about that, I mean Linux RedHat 7.3 hehehe, I will fix that.

hmm yes.. and it works fine on 7.3 but.. if you are a total new to linux install the redhat 7.2 ( http://seq.sourceforge.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=273 )

and it WILL work ( if u use a real hub offcause )

or get RH7.4b1 or MD9.0b1. Both come with gcc 3.1 and are prebuilt with it instead of 2.96 now.

Thanks for the help and advice guys, I found out the problem.

The problem was that my built in NIC wish I was thinking it was eth0 was actualy eth1 and the one in the PCI Slot that I though it was eth1 was eth0. What happen and is what I think was that, once i added a NIC on the PCI Slot it auto make that the main Default NIC making it eth0 to detect the net and using the Built in NIC to do the Gateway between my Hub and other machine. So, I guess that close this case down. Thanks for all ya advice guys, have are a real help. =)
