Anyone using 3.0.5 noticed the same old decode problem that if you have not decoded the zone , your placement is not shown?

with 2.3.2 as well all know lets you see yourself even if the zone insn't decoded.

Just wondering before I try an upgrade.

I can confirm this issue still exists with 3.0.5. I really should go back to 2.3.2 but, like an idiot, I removed it and I have been too lazy to rebuild it. ;)

Thanks for the info.

In that case I will stick with 2.3.2. Anyone know if there is a chance that this could be fixed via SEQ or are we outta luck since QT has changed?

For some reason this has cleared up on my setup in the last couple of patches. I am using QT 3.0.4 and I notice now that even when my zone is not decoded I can still get my directional and map.. just no mobs.

I had some time this weekend and rebuilt Qt 2.3.2 and then built Seq against it. I now get the location circle and all movement even before the decode again. I've been spending a lot of time lately in low population zones, and this issue was just getting too annonying.

I wish I knew why it was working for Cleric. It's really not a big deal...the only reason I was running 3.0.5 was to see if I could, it doesn't change any functionality. I guess I'm just one of those bleeding edge guys who always wants the latest everything. ;)

Hey Dedpoet, I upgraded to 3.0.5-r2 last night and didnt see this problem. I will recompile SEQ tonite and see if I see this.

Thanks, Beer. If r2 works for you, please post. I didn't even think to look for an r2 build.

It came down when I emerged the redhat-artwork package for shits and giggles.
