View Full Version : Not logging "z" spawns.......

I still have the problem of not having the "z" spawns in spawnlog.txt.

This was the only info I could find about it.
I must be missing something, any info would be appreciated.

Why is this a 'problem'?

That a MOB was there when you zoned is in is no use when you want to know where & when it spawns, the reason to log the spawns.

Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't see the lack of 'z' spawn logging as a problem, but rather a feature.

I don't think it is really a problem, but having the z spawns logged helps with creation of zone specfic filters (since rares/named mobs could be up when you zone in and have a long respawn time once dead).

I did find an Options -> Log Spawns, but even with it unchecked spawns are still logged to the spawnlog.txt file.

Hit the nail on the head :) Would help us a great deal.

BTW still looking for spawnlogs. On my site you can get the script that filters out stuff we dont need (ie pets, corpses, players). http://www.seqstuff.cjb.net Tar it up and then send them to [email protected]
