Just a thought, but it might make sence... Doesn't mean that it's going to be impossible for the devs to crack again, but they ran all sorts of events last year at this same time...

If you remember last year when you patch for the Halloween events you download a bunch of zone files that contained the new models. This year the only stuff you download in this patch are the eqgame.exe and the news.txt file.
