I have search all over this site and canont find anything pertaining to this so here it is;

i had to reinstall redhat and showeq did the compiling of everything go to change the opcodes.h in root/showeq/src I type chmod777 opcodes.h and the error i get is:

Bash: chmod777: command not found

any ideas.

I am trying to change the opcodes manually since i have nothing but grey dots, I do have the newest libEQ.a also.

you forgot a space... chmod is the name of the command. Also, read the annoucements, changing the opcodes isnt going to get you anything you dont already have. All the opcodes in cvs are up to date.
