That has got to be the biggest waste of $9.95 I've ever seen.

Actually, if you have $9.95 to spare, click here (http://seq.sourceforge.net/announcement.php?s=&forumid=8)

I just love how they state that they show you how to use EQWindows (which is undetectable by Sony)....

Undetectable???

#&$*ers... If Sony REALLY wanted to detect it they could! I don't think it would be that big of a deal for them after reading ALL the different threads on how to hide the key sniffers etc that abound as a result of Sony "breaking" ShowEQ...

Oh well, as they say, "Caveat Emptor" Let the buyer beware!

Do you think if someone brought this site to the attention of Sony that they might very quickly have a couple of lawyers at there door? :D

I guess they have a version that we don't? Heh, their HP's (mobs) works..guess I been doing something wrong ALL this time. O well, back to the drawing boards.

Actually, I can't believe that crap. People complain that SEQ is "cheating" while zipperheads like this are selling crap like "Offsets"? (dont ask me, just read the site). If anything is going to ruin the game, it's junk like that. If anything SEQ enhances the playability...much more fun not being lost all the time. /flame on if you wish, just my 2cp's worth

This is the same loser who is on the HQ boards. He puts out a cheat guide that he sells on player auctions. It seems that anything that is posted, he will rip off and sell as his own.

To me this looks like a S C A M ...

Save your money! Donate it to EFF or drop it in the Salvation Army bucket the next time you go to a store...

He's actually selling a "Guide" to MacroQuest (not even the program itself, because that's Open Source)

Isn't that broken?

There is really no guide to setting up SHOWEQ. Unless you are a Linux wiz it could take you hours.......and hours....... and hours....

This is my favorite part.

For grins, I sent an report to his hoster (bizhost) since he violates the following portions of his agreement when he signed up with them:

Content that condones, promotes, contains, or links to warez, cracks, hacks, viruses, worms, harmful code, Trojan horses and/or their associated utilities, or other piracy-related information, whether for educational purposes or not.

Content that commits acts of copyright, trademark, patent, tradename, trade secret or other intellectual property infringement or violates any other third party right.

Content that provides, sells, or offers to sell the following: controlled substances, illegal drugs and drug contraband, alcohol, weapons, pirated materials, pornography or sexual products, programs to attack others, illegal goods, escort services, instructions on making, assembling, or obtaining illegal goods or weapons, information used to break copyright or trademark violations, to destroy others' property, or to harm any people or animals.

Content that takes part in, or allows any third party to take part in, the following: reverse engineering, reverse compiling or otherwise deriving the underlying source code or structure or sequence of the Technology; individual passworking of Member sites or pages; altering copyright notices and attributes (unless permitted in writing by the author/owner); and such practices.

Some of these are a bit of a stretch, but other are fairly clear. I would recommend that everyone send in an report at the following address.

From the EverGuide's rip-off site
It is in alphabetical order and creature by zone. A lot of sites have creature levels but how many have their exact locations being updated with their class, race, and exact hitpoints?

I want to know how he is getting the "exact hitpoints". They no longer send the hit points, only a percentage.

He is and always has been a loser and a cheat.

LOL

I say let him stay up. The speed hacks he mentions are actually the most certain and fastest way to get banned :D

Any fool paying him will get what he deserves :)

btw someone should tell him that the menu link to the Locater page has a typo = broken *g*

You know, I never thought of that... I was just trying to prevent geocities.com from shutting down the sight because of bandwidth...

The ficticiousname9 sight has been up for a loooong time (since right after Kunark) - so it's a LOT out dated, but still a neat site to look at every now and again.

Looks like everguide is gone after all this time, it only took one email from someone to finally put an end to his money grubbing ways.
