Gotcha!

I just wanted to thank the devs and everyone who contributes to this board for an excellent job providing the answers to just about every SEQ problem that pops up.

I am new to Linux. I just put together my first Linux box using RH 8.0 so I figured I might as well give SEQ a try. I came here and followed the directions at the top of the page.

To anyone new to Linux or SEQ - the FAQ is a great place to start and search is your friend.

Over the course of 3 days messing with SEQ I had the following problems:

1. failed dependencies error
2. configure: error: Please verify your Qt lib install!
3. Something wicked error
4. libtool: link: only absolute run-paths are allowed error
5. router/switch problem
6. zones not decrypting probelm

In every single case I was able to find the answer to my problem within the FAQ or by running a simple search. Some times I had to weed through the eleventy billionth "Something wicked" post to actually find the one with the answer, but it was there every time.

I am happy to say that SEQ is now running flawlessly. It was a great learning experience getting it to work. I ordered a few Linux reference books, I can't wait to actually understand what I did.
