Please don't post (ie, reply) in the announcement section until SEQ is fixed....LOL.

Silly yes, but I bet many of you thought the same thing!

/bump

I just wish no one other than devs/admin could post in "Announcements" now that I think about it.

Come on guys....people are posting questions and answers there right now and no one wants to read anything there except "announcements" (go figure)

Nod, I've made that same statement before; restrict "Announcements" to admins please!

yes, of course announcements should be restricted. it isnt because we should all just gosh darn well know that we shouldnt post there. just like we should all know how to write our own linux operating system from scratch. just becuse its linux and we should know without anyone helping unless scortching you with dozens of flames.

so no, i wouldnt expect the announcements to be restricted, or the memory offset to ever get updated on the opening page before it get changed to yet another value.

Look at the number of threads. If there is a new one, then *gasp* its probably a new thread detailing an announcement. Before the latest patch there were 57, then it changed to 58 and I realized, "Hey, it was 57 earlier today."

I'm actually kind of amazed that all of the 'gurus' about that you all look at the date and not the number of threads. So unless the admins decide to delete a thread when they add a new anouncement, stop whining about seeing the date change and getting excited, as its not the only way to tell when a new thread appears.

EDIT: Spelling, I don't know wtf a 'pather' is.
