CPU Load goes to 100%

Iv'e just started useing showeq on a Red hat 7.3 (2.4.18-3) i686 system with qt 3.0.5 (compiled with gcc3-3.0.4-1). I've been starting showeq from a terminal window in the GNOME system.

Everything works great, except that after about 10 minutes the CPU load goes to 100%.
The interesting thing is this only happens when the showeq window is displayed -- if it's minimized or windowshaded, the cpu load returns to normal.

Anyone else ever have this problem?

I'm wondering, since it seems to be a display thing, if upgrading qt might help, but from what I've read so far the higher versions seem to be buggy.

Try resizing the SEQ window. Rather than using the "Maximize" button try stretching the window to fill the screen.

Sometimes breaking the Map pane out into it's own window will also fix this.

I thought they had squashed this bug a while ago.... Maybe it's crept back in..... :confused:
