Took me a while to figure out just what was causing this error. Running the cvs checkout command in "/seq" seemed to cause it - which many of the guides in this forum instruct you to do. When I ran the checkout command from the root directory, and then moved the files into my /seq directory, I didn't have any problems.
I'm posting this, because I didn't find anything listed on the boards about this (not saying it isn't there - I just didn't find it).
