I'm getting constant denial of access when I try to log into CVS. It asks for my password, I just hit enter (as I usually do) but now I get
"Unknown host. cvs.seq.sourceforge.net."

This is my address line to open/enter cvs :

cvs -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/seq login

Have I messed up the address line somehow? Or is this typical of trying to contact during the duty/work day?

haha the smiley face got put in there haha. it is supposed to be : p with no spaces ))

I have been bit by this one before.......when I forgot to open my firewall to allow Internet traffic to my Linux box. Might want to ck that.

Now I am getting

"cvs [checkout aborted]: end of file from server (consult above messages if any)"

And of course there aren't any messages (

So I guess I just have to keep trying throughout the day. Thanx again guys.

I used to get that once and a while wither reboot or do what I said to do in previous post

cvs -d:pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/seq logout
