Ok, this is my current network setup:

Speedtouch Alcatel USB DSL modem -> Main Windows XP computer.

EQ Machine / Wingate Software proxy / Windows XP Box --> Hub

All other PCs, including SEQ Linux box into hub...

I can get SEQ working when i run EQ from any other computer other than the XP box... but this is not good to me, as they are in other rooms.

Is there a way to get the information from the EQ box to the SEQ box?

Or, would putting the modem on the linux box (seq box) work?

Thanks

There was an app that would do what you are looking for. I think it was called udpecho.

UDPecho only works on win9x and winNT, but I dont think it works for winXP.

You can get it from here

well, bugger...

I downloaded it, and it gave the error "failed to start coz packet.dll was not found"...

Guess its a WinXP config thing -=/

I'll continue looking for a similar program, as this modem is a PITA to install on linux (involves kernel recompiling etc, and im not up to scratch with that yet)

If anyone has any other ideas, or links to another program, please let me know.

You might be missing some of the requirements to run echoudp (namely Winpcap, etc...).
