I'm running EQ using winex and it's working great, i just can't get seq to detect the client.
I'm wondering how exactly seq knows when it's looking at an eq client? Does it go by port number, ip address?

-----------------
sprintf (filter_buf, "udp[0:2] > 1024 and udp[2:2] > 1024 and ether proto 0x0800");
-----------------
That's the line i think sets up the string sent to the libpcap, so i'm assuming port doesn't matter, and it's using "ether proto 0x0800" to find the eq client.
I'm probably extremely wrong because i don't know anything about libpcap and how it works. Any suggestions?

WineX has been discussed numerous times before. Basically it has to do with the ports EQ has access to while running in WineX. There's a lot more info, just search for winex.
