After many sleepless nights and pondering...
I've decided to take the plunge and accept responsibility for an EFF fund sponsored by the ShowEQ community.

All proceeds contributed to the SEQ EFF Fund will be donated to the EFF on a regular basis (usually when there's enough money in the account to donate). A portion of the donations will be used to renew the vBulletin license for our message base (approximately $80 as of this writing) on a yearly basis.
All verified donators will recieve a tag on the message board indicating they are an "Contributing Member" ... to recieve your tag, you must send the EFF donation and be sure to include your message board user name in the note. If you do not wish to be credtied (IE - to remain an anonymous donor) please note that as well.
I can't stress enough how important the EFF is to your online freedoms. It is one of the last bastions of legal sanity in an increasingly insane litigious society. Any support we can provide to them will be helpful, no matter how small.
