hub question

Hello all,

I have been reading up on the hub posts and I wanted to be sure that I got a "true hub" before I wasted time and money buying the wrong one. This is one that I came up with.

If you have any other suggestions that would help too. The only thing I care about is that it is 10/100 instead of just 10 because I do a lot of file transferring and sharing around the network. Thanks guys...

First, make sure everything attached to that device is at the same speed (if you Net connection is doing 10 and your systems are getting 100 then you won't be able to sniff).

And please search the forums for more relevant information as there have been quite a few posts on the differences between true hubs, switching hubs and switches...
