I don't think I've had a spawn log ever since I've moved to beta. The options is on in the program, and I've verified it in the showeq.xml. I'm running suid, and am not getting a spawn log in ~/.showeq/logs or /usr/local/share/showeq...

Any help here?? Anyone else missing it.? Running suid I'd expect that the file shouls be somewhere in my ~/.showeq directory, is it still trying to write to /usr/local... and I have a permissions problem?

The location it is written to is in the seqdef.xml file which is in the showeq share folder (/usr/local/share/showeq for most users). It is possible that the perms for SUID are being dropped before it gets to the point of creating and writing the log. In which case, just change the location in the seqdef.xml file to point to where you want it to go (most likely your home directory area since most normal users don't have write perms elsewhere on the system).
