SEQ has been running fine up untill the May 5 patch. Now the correct map loads but I have unknown spawns as well as map is loading really small with mobs outside of map.

I tried to patch using the patch instructions in the cvs Install.Newbie file. I did recompile after download. That didn't work.

I have read up that I should modify everquest.h file under a thread listed "Quidk fixes for 4/5 patch". But I'm looking in my SEQ folder and don't see this file.

As you can see I'm still a newbie here. But have tried to help myself. Can you please point me in the right direction....

Running Red Hat Distro v9 and basically followed the Install Newbie file to install. Please let me know if I need to add additional info

Thanks

As i see there is added confusion of the "howto" for dummies here..

You should really not post links that are clearly wrong imo..

/showEQ/SRC is prolly NOT right.. cos it would be /showeq/src ..

Remember in Linux, S does not equal s .. :)

Thanks for pointing that out

Dually noted, guess I've been using Windows way too long. I forgot everything from my old Unix days.

I did find all the info needed and it's back up and running. Thanks again for doing such a great job on this program and site.
