Hello all!

Somtime ago I stumbleb onto a thread that talked about hardware. I cant seem to find it.

However, my question: Can I run SEQ on a 200mhz with 64 megs of ram and normal video card. Or just spinning my wheels?
Would performance degrade bad?

Thank you for any advice, (Killing time)

Have a safe week

Hmm 200 MHz ...

The slowest PC i ever had with SEQ 4.x was a 500 MHz Athlon with 256 MB.

Running on a 350mhz laptop with 64 mb of ram and crappy integrated graphics and works fairly decently.

It will probably run on that system, but keep in mind that it may take a VERY long time to compile.

My SEQ box:

socket 7 p233mmx, 96 megs of ram, 10 gig hdd, voodoo 3 pci, redhat 9.0

Works great, except on raids with large amounts of data flying through the channel message window (spell casting etc) then it gets lagged for periods.

Working on getting another box up atm. 700 athlon / 512 ram for holding my mp3 collection and running seq.... just taking me forever to get gentoo on the box with all the packages I want.
