Compile errors with 5.0.0.11 mandrake 10

I am using a fresh DL from CVS on a fresh install of mandrake 10 with the following compile errors. my forum searches did not turn up an answer. I have been using seq for about 2 years now and this is the first time i have been unable to compile or at least find a work around in the forums.

That double slash is suspicious. Did you edit a file somewhere and hit a key twice maybe?

I made no changes or edits. I have deleted the showeq directory and downloaded from cvs 3 times now, all with the same error.

Something is hosed with your QT it appears. Not sure if you are missing a package or not, as I had to install several packages that were not on the Mandrake 10 CDs.
