Hi.

Im trying to use SUSE Linux 9.1.

After using CVS to grab all of the files, I tried running make -f Makefile.dist and here is my error message:

Adding libtool support...................................... done!
Generating aclocal.m4 from configure.in and acinclude.m4....make[1]: *** [no-backup] Error 127
make: *** [all] Error 2

has anyone ever gotten this error, and/or know how to get around it? Or should I just give up on suse and try using fedora instead?

Thanks in advance,

I tried using SuSE and stuggled for a few days with it. I installed RedHat 9.0 with every option, and I had SEQ up and running minutes later.
I followed these directions:

have suse 9.1 running without any problems, i think you are missing some dev packages.
